Following the death of charismatic leader Jack Layton and financial ruin, the party which once offered a strong voice for the left are miles away from challenging the Liberals in government.
Our North America correspondent Scott Costen joined host Declan Carey to look into the rise and fall of the NDP, and whether the left can ever reach the heights of 2011 again.
