PROTESTORS gathered in vast numbers in central London today against austerity and the Conservative Party’s governance of the UK.
Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn joined groups such as Black Lives Matter, Kill the Bill, the free Palestine movement, NHS workers, and a number of socialist trade unionists to demand better support from the government for working class people.

Corbyn joined the demonstration near Parliament before giving a speech where he argued for better social care in the UK.

Songs and chants rung throughout the march about the occupation of Palestine and the UK Government’s Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill.

Speakers included Jeremy Corbyn, Labour MPs Zarah Sultana and Richard Burgon, Steve Turner (candidate for general secretary at Unite the Union), journalist Jake Bowers, Howard Beckett (Unite assistant general secretary), and others.
Redaction Report will be sharing a full report of the event in the coming days.
