Jeremy Corbyn demands 15 per cent pay increase for NHS workers at People’s Assembly demo

FORMER Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn demanded Britain’s National Health Service (NHS) workers receive a 15 per cent pay rise at the People’s Assembly national demonstration in London on Saturday.

Corbyn joined huge numbers of protestors who marched from the BBC HQ at Portland Place to Parliament Square.

The campaign to increase NHS staff pay by 15 per cent came during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic when frontline workers were pushed to extreme limits while protecting those infected.
