DEMONSTRATORS spoke out about the threat to Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller (GRT) communities and their way of life at a gathering in Parliament Square on Wednesday.
The event, run by Drive to Survive, was held in reaction to The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill which threatens to criminalise unauthorised encampments.
Speakers included, the organiser of Appleby Fair Billy Welch and Labour MPs Andy Slaughter, Zarah Sultana and Bell Ribeiro-Addy.
