IT’S PARTY conference season in the UK, and Labour leader Keir Stamer has finally had the chance to speak before his membership in person after 18 months in the job.
Starmer hasn’t had a tremendous 2021 so far, with the party suffering lacklustre results in the local elections and losing the long-standing bulwark of Hartlepool in a by-election.
This week, our team look at his speech and consider whether it’s enough to salvage his leadership.
We also discuss the results of the federal election in Canada and the fuel crisis in the UK.
