When is military intervention morally justified? – a Redaction Report debate preview

SADLY, Redaction Report has had to shelve our previously planned debate on the future of the British monarchy due to technical problems with the recording.

But our debates will be returning soon with the question of ‘When is military intervention morally justified.’

Many on the left will say that foreign interventions are intrinsically imperialist and can often lead to unintended calamities, with the Iraq War being rolled out as an example of intervention gone wrong.

Conversely, others claim that interventions can be used as a tool for good when countering grave humanitarian situations such as impending genocide.

We will keep our readers updated once we have speakers confirmed for the debate.

In the meantime, you can watch more of our video content – including our previous debate – on our YouTube channel.

Anyone who wants to submit a question for the panel can do so at redaction_news@protonmail.com
